My Current Classes

I am having such a good semester right now, with all three classes. My AP class is really great most of the time. They are very down to earth and teachable, which is nice. We are going into Macbeth next week, so I am pretty excited. They turned in some awesome Hamlet projects last week. I'll probably post some pictures. My Holocaust Literature class... this is the first time I have taught this, and it couldn't be going any better. They wrote ecphrastic poems yesterday regarding the photo and poem "The Little Polish Boy Standing with His Arms Up" and they were so absolutely amazing. I am going to post a couple of the best on here. I also will post some pictures of the visual representations of a quote. Finally, my sophomore English class is in the middle of Julius Caesar right now. They have done pretty well with the play and had some great insights today on different characters from Acts I-III. It is semesters like this one that remind me why I am so glad to have been called into this profession. The rewards are truly neverending.
