Sonja DuBois
We were honored to have Sonja DuBois, Holocaust survivor, hidden child, spend the day with us on Thursday, April 3. Her story was compelling and moving and we so enjoyed getting to know her. She is pictured here with her husband, Ron.
Survivor of Sobibor
Pictured here are some of my students with Mr. Phillip Bialowitz, one of the ten living survivors of the Nazi extermination camp Sobibor. His son, Joe Bialowitz, is in the picture as well. It was an honor to hear Mr. Bialowitz speak.

Ok so far ive found the book an easy read, my only real problem is the main character's senselessness is getting rather annoying and repetitive. Other than that its a fairly interesting book.
Will is having a hard time taking part in a single-man discussion. WHERE ARE THE REST OF YOU???
heh your tellin me. Well i finished the book the other day and i gotta say i didn't see the ending coming at all, totally caught me by surprise.

Well wish you'd have made that comment way earlier cause theres no way i can respond this late in the game. so ill just go on and say what i plan to.
yeah i noticed Uri was acting odd since relocating into the ghetto but i never would have suspected him to have joined the nazis. janina was rather stupid near the end of the book and kinda figured she'd get caught, despite the warnings she got she still ran towards the train.
I love how Misha never tells anyone about Janina
To me it displays some of that childishness that was so prevailant all through the book
