Et tu, Brute?

Considerations for the play...

· Is Brutus a good man?
· Can a good man commit murder?
· Is the quality of shrewdness the fatal missing ingredient in Brutus’ character?
· Or alternatively, is he just an evil person?

I don't think Brutus is a good man. A good man can though commit murder if that person is putting others in danger, then that would make the good man want to do something to stop it. I don't think Brutus is an evil person though, but he did not have a good enough reason to kill Caesar.

I think Brutus was a good person, but in a way he wasn't. He really didn't have a reason to kill Caesar. Even if Caesar was trying to gain more power, Brutus should've just ran against. And then everyone should've picked who they wanted for king. I think Brutus went to far in the decision he made of killing Caesar.
