Some of you are wanting another post to respond to (because THREE wasn't enough last week...), so here is something I wanted you all to look at anyway. The title above is a weblink. These people found artwork of Auschwitz and sent them to this photographer for him to go and take "now" pictures of the same places pictured in the artwork. We are going to talk a little next week (or the end of this week) about Holocaust Denial. There are bazillions of arguments against it, but this website to me gives another haunting arguement against the deniers. What are your reactions to the website?

First off, I think that Holocaust deniers are morons, just to plainly put it. There is no way that you can say that 12 million deaths just..happend.
After looking at those pictures of the "then and now" just really made me realize that the places are actually real, I could go to these places and walk the trails if I wanted to. Hopefully I can go someday.
Scott-- Field trip! :)
Holocaust deniers need to keep erasing the truth. You can't erase some history and keep some. You have to take ALL history into account. I'd love to meet a Holocaust denier so I can preach them up and down!
That web-site was very informative. The pictures gave me chills.
I would love to go visit Auschwitz and just think. Think about the people where you are standing. Think about the people who walked in your footsteps. Think about the innocent people getting off of the cattle cars. Just to remember those who are no longer with us.
To everyone who reads this...
We must NOT keep silent!!!
God Bless,
Josh
*Mrs. Davis, EXCELLENT IDEA!!!! I'm in! :)
Those pictures were spoky
I almost couldn't believe it when I saw the real picture
I want to go there
The pictures really were haunting.
Just seeing what they looked like then and then seeing that picture of now and just putting two together, and just thinking of how much pain hurt and sadness was all bundled in one room... i just couldn't look at it for too long.

It was very creepy to see the Now part. I wanted to visit Auschwitz, but after seeing the pictures I am not sure if I could stand to even be in that place. I still can't believe that there are people who still deny what happened.
