My Favorite Short Story

Not for the faint of heart, but if any of you want to read an extra (amazing!) story, click the title above and it will link you to my very favorite short story. I don't know if any of the freshman teachers do it, but I LOVED teaching it when I had freshman! If you choose to go above and beyond, read the story and post any comments you have on here!

Welcome Back!

First day back... I don't think I have had a better first day in eight years of teaching! Everyone seemed so positive and in accordance with all of the new policies and procedures. I am so excited about the coming year. My classes also seemed to be really great. I am going to be using this blog as a general blog and my English II blog. I have a separate one for English II Honors. Below I have included a calendar for my English II classes for this week.
