Hamlet Memorization

I am so lucky to have an amazing job at the best high school in the world with the most wonderful students (MOST of the time). Here I will share my musings, reflect on literature, and showcase cool assignments.

Hey everyone!
I really enjoyed doing the memorial reserach! I learned a ton of stuff while doing the project.
The memorials that intrigued me the most were...
The Holocaust Memorials in Paris, Yad Vashem, USHMM, and the memorial in Miami.
The one in Paris shocked me. I just got so interested in it. When I go to France this summer, I will most likely be going to the memorial museum. I'm so excited! I just can not wait to see it. I will take LOTS of pictures for you Mrs. Davis!
The pictures you posted are simply amazing, Mrs. Davis! You said they were detailed and oh my goodnes! haha. I wonder how long it took the artist(s) to create those. Anyone know?
God Bless,
Josh
First of all, I really enjoyed going to washingon and seeing everything and i would have to say one of my favorite things would have been the holocaust museum. The exhibits they had were amazing. I am so glad you got pictures of the one that me and Hillary talked about so everyone can see it. It was a little hard to explain to the class how it looked like. haha I really enjoyed this project and the trip.
When I went to the holocaust museum I was expecting to ball my eyes out. I had heard about it alot from Mrs. Davis, but when i got there and went up the elevator to the fourth floor walked out and seen just a little of it it was like something came over me. I couldn't cry i didn't want to move from in of the memorials i just wanted to sit there and take it all in. When i came up to this memorial my mind was running 90 mph
I couldn't stop looking at there faces and how detailed they were. I felt like i was there, and i know i could never imagine what it was like, but it just seemed so real. Thanks so much Mrs. Davis for having this trip! I hope everyone can have this experience!
If i had to pick a second exhibit that struck me most it would have been this one. It just looked so real but on a different size scale.. it really helped me understand what Jews went through during their execution and murder. The fact that a human could treat another human this way is impossible to believe. They stripped them of their dignity then shoved them in a room to die. Anyone whose capable of treating someone like this cannot be human or have a heart.
